Ranklytics uses a proprietary algorithm to generate a SEO score based on your content and your target keyword. The SEO score largely depends on these factors
Title - Having an optimized title with the target keyword in it.
H1 Tag - Having 1 H1 tag with the target keyword in it.
H2 Tags - Having 3 or more relevant H2 tags. These could be the section sub-headings within your article.
Word Count - Google loves in-depth content. Quality over quantity. Having detailed long-form content over 2000 words is essential.
Keyword Density - Having a good keyword density of your target keyword. We want target keyword to be in your article a good number of times, ideally about 1-2% of the total words used. You don't want to stuff keywords where it doesn't make sense. It needs to feel organic.
Semantic Words - Using a good number of related keywords in the article.
Links - Use 5 or more relevant external and internal links in your article linking to external sources or other related internal blogs / content.
While AI tries to get you as high of a score as possible, you may end up with a slightly lower score in some cases where it fails to meet a few aspects of the scoring. The best way to go about optimizing it further is to click "Edit" and edit manually.
Go over aspects of your SEO score that are not optimized and try to optimize them manually. You can also use the "AI Write" button to extend the article and have it write more content.
